Donn is a proven investor, entrepreneur, and company-builder in media, digital, gaming, and sports.
Together with Steve Case, he co-founded Revolution in 2005, a Washington DC based venture capital firm with $1.5 billion under management. Donn served as Managing Partner of the Revolution Growth funds, investing in disruptive media, digital, gaming, and sports companies such as DraftKings, Sportradar, CustomInk, BigCommerce, and Scopely.
Donn is co-owner of Team Liquid, the most winning e-sports team in history and two-time ESPN e-sports Team of the Year.
Previously, Donn served as Chairman and CEO of Exclusive Resorts, building the pioneering sharing economy company from start-up to market leader with over $1 billion of vacation home assets.
Donn was a senior executive at America Online during the formative period of the consumer internet, including serving as the President/COO of the AOL Interactive Properties Group, where he managed 7 hyper-growth internet businesses and 1,000-person team. Donn was also the youngest member of the company-wide Operating Committee when AOL was a Fortune 50 Company.
At age 29, Donn was named Chief Counsel to the beloved Chicago Cubs Baseball Team, where he was the youngest team attorney in Major League Baseball.
Donn started his career at Sidley & Austin in Chicago, focused on media, sports, and technology M&A and financing transactions.
He graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 1985 with a BS in Finance and University of Michigan Law School in 1988. Donn created
the course “Real Business” which has been taught for over a decade at his alma mater, where he has served as an Adjunct Professor.
Donn and his wife of 25 years Sharon live in Great Falls, Virginia and have three children. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Peter Murray joined PFL as Chief Executive Officer in January 2018.
Peter is a senior sports executive and proven global marketer. He oversees all business operations, fighter roster, event management, broadcast production, original content, and marketing for the company.
Before joining the PFL, Murray served as VP Global Brand and Sports Marketing at Under Armour reporting to Founder and CEO Kevin Plank. In this role, he was responsible for category management of football, baseball, basketball, soccer, combat, and Olympic Sports.
Prior to Under Armour, he was Co-Founder and CEO of Insignia Sports Agency and EVP Marketing & New Business at William Morris Endeavor.
For 13 years, Peter was a senior executive at the National Football League (NFL), including leadership roles as SVP of Business and Content Development and SVP of Global Brand Partnerships.
Ted Segal is the Founder and President of EJS Group, a real estate development and financing company focused on ground-up multifamily and mixed-use development in primary markets, with an emphasis on the New York metropolitan area.
Prior to founding EJS, Mr. Segal was a Vice President at LS Power Equity Advisors, where he focused on merger and acquisition transactions and project development opportunities in the U.S. power generation sector.
From 2009-2013, Mr. Segal was an associate at the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP, where he worked in the project finance practice group and represented developers, private equity sponsors and financial institutions in project financings and acquisition financings, with a principal focus on the power generation sector.
Mr. Segal graduated magna cum laude with special honors from the George Washington University with a BA in Political Communication. He earned his JD from the New York University School of Law, where he served as the Colloquium Editor of the New York University Environmental Law Journal.
Nate Redleaf is a partner at Luxor Capital Group, an investment firm with over $5 billion of capital under management. Luxor Capital Group is based in NYC and was founded in 2002. Mr. Redleaf also serves on the board of Dot Labs, Ocean Casino & Resort, and Innovate Auto Finance.
Ara Cohen is a Co-Founder and Co-Managing Member of Knighthead Capital. Mr. Cohen has been involved in the business of investing in debt and equity securities since 1993.
Prior to co-founding Knighthead in 2008, Mr. Cohen joined Redwood Capital Management, LLC as a Principal in early 2001 and helped build the firm from a small start-up to a multi-billion dollar fund. Ioris brings over two decades of senior experience in sports and entertainment, with particular expertise in global sports media. He is a Board Member of SIC and an independent advisor to global media, sports, and entertainment companies.
Ioris most recently served as President of IMG Media, overseeing 35 offices and 1,000 employees worldwide. He previously was Co-President of WME-IMG and member of the leadership group at Endeavor. He has handled media rights for dozens of major sports properties including International Olympic Committee, Serie A, La Liga, and U.S. Tennis Association. Ioris studied the classics and law at the University of Rome.
