Key international partnership renewal with Virgin Media kicks off tomorrow with
Bellator Champions Series Belfast airing live on Virgin Media Three
NEW YORK (March 21, 2024) - The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest-growing and most innovative sports league, today announced a key international partnership renewal with Virgin Media Television in the Republic of Ireland, which will make all eight Bellator Champions Series events available through the free-to-air networks and available to all Irish MMA fans with a device.
First up is the Bellator Champions Series Belfast in the SSE Arena, Belfast tomorrow, the prelims will be live on Virgin Media Extra One beginning at 5 pm GMT, with the main card live on Virgin Media Three at 8 pm GMT. Virgin Media Television will also bring viewers the action from Bellator Champions Series Dublin at the 3Arena on Saturday, June 22.
“The PFL is pleased to announce the renewal of our long term partnership with Virgin Media, the home of sport in the Republic of Ireland,” PFL CEO Peter Murray said. “Virgin Media has supported the growth of MMA throughout its rich history, and the re-imagined Bellator Champions Series will continue to bring multiple Bellator events per year to Ireland, while providing a platform for the very best Irish athletes to compete globally.”
Bellator Champions Series Belfast kicks off tomorrow and is headlined by two Bellator World Championship contests, the first pitting former title challenger Corey Anderson (17-6, 1 NC) against Northern Ireland’s Karl Moore (12-2). While in the co-main event, the Bellator “G.O.A.T.” Patricio Pitbull (35-7) will defend his Featherweight title for a ninth time when he meets Canada’s Jeremy Kennedy (19-3).
