Mostafa Rashed Nada will not only be competing in his PFL debut tonight, but this will mark his first professional MMA fight in just under four years. Rashed Nada, who has five finishes in his seven victories, won his last three fights. His most recent bout came in December 2019, where he scored a first-round TKO of Alexis Fontes.

 

Korey Kuppe makes his second PFL appearance tonight, after getting a late-notice call to compete in the 2022 PFL Challenger Series, where he lost to Carlos Leal. Kuppe, a karate expert who owns finishes in all 11 of his wins, has won back-to-back fights since the loss to Leal, most recently submitting Terry VanAvery in April.

 

Both will look to catch the attention of PFL fans and officials in this middleweight showcase.

 

 

Round 1

 

Both men come out with a wide stance. Kuppe with a wide kick. Kuppe with a couple of kicks to the body. Rashed Nada is on the front foot, however. Kuppe fakes a back kick. Left hand by Kuppe. Kuppe’s high front kick is missed. Rashed Nada throws a small flurry, and it seems to affect Kuppe, who stumbles around the cage! Rashed Nada gets on top and gets to work with the right hand. Kuppe tries to get up a guard as Rashed Nada continues to land. Kuppe can’t get it and covers up as Rashed Nada continues to pound away! Ref warns Kuppe to defend but ends up stepping in!
