The final PFL Regular Season event in Las Vegas begins with a banger between the undefeated Magomed Umalatov taking on 2022 PFL Runner Up Dilano Taylor. Umalatov made last season’s PFL Playoffs but was forced to withdraw due to visa issues while Taylor went from the 2022 PFL Challenger Series to fighting for a PFL World Championship after replacing Umalatov and knocking out MMA legend Rory MacDonald. Both men look to make a statement in the Welterweight Division to start the season.
Round 1
The bell rings and Taylor sprints to take the center of the SmartCage and establish himself, probing the jab as both men start to feel each other out and find their range. Umalatov clinches and Taylor lands some nice short hooks over the top before they break as Taylor fires a high kick that Umalatov blocks.
Taylor is fighting very well and now he’s not, my word! Umalatov lands an overhand right that staggers Taylor and rushes him, landing a MASSIVE left hook right on the chin that just crumples Taylor and another right hand on the way down for good measure. That’s a Quick Six to open the season for The Prince!
