In the first of two non-season Bantamweight fights on the PFL Europe card, Leeds’ Louis Lee Scott faced Sam Robinson, the local product fighting out of Gateshead, just south of Newcastle. Scott, who just turned pro in 2020 after a 14-2 run as an amateur, comes into the Vertu Arena 4-0 professionally with four stoppage victories. Robinson, a two-time amateur champ, enters the fight 2-0 professionally. Robinson is a BJJ purple belt under the pioneer Crezio de Souza, and makes his return to the cage after a five-year hiatus.
Round 1
Sam Robinson comes out of the gate like a bat out of hell, trying to close the range. Louis Lee Scott caught Robinson with a big left hook that stunned him. Scott follows it up with a huge left head kick that lands flush on Robinson’s cheek, and Robinson was out before he hit the mat of the SmartCage.
