Biaggio Ali Walsh looks to make it five straight first-round KO/TKOs in an amateur lightweight bout that opens tonight’s main card in New York City. Ali Walsh made his PFL debut at Madison Square Garden last year during the 2022 PFL World Championships, knocking out Tom Graesser. Since then, Ali Walsh has racked up first-round stoppages of Isaiah Figueroa and Travell Miller.

 

Ed Davis made his amateur debut just last year and has already picked up two wins via knockout and a lightweight title. He enters this fight after dropping a decision to Kyle Pufahl in February.

 

Under the bright lights of MSG, these two amateur fighters look to take another step closer to the professional ranks.

 

 

Round 1

Ali Walsh fires a flurry that backs Davis to the fence. Davis waves him forward. High kick by Ali Walsh is blocked. Davis with a low kick trips up Ali Walsh briefly. Ali Walsh comes forward again, landing the right hand. Round kick by Ali Walsh.

 

Davis throws a series of right hands. Davis with another jab. Right hand cracks Davis and he goes down! Ref jumps in and stops the fight! But Davis seems to have been looking to wrestle, and he gets up to immediately protest the stoppage.

 

 

Nevertheless, it’ll go down as another big finish by Ali Walsh!
